“Not All Those Who Wander Are Lost.”
– J.R.R Tolkien –

As a kid, I felt a certain draw to camping. The idea of sitting around a crackling fire, while surrounded by the unknown darkness of the wilderness, sparked a sense of adventure in me. It wasn’t until I joined the Boy Scouts that I finally experienced the thrill of camping firsthand.
We might have gone on only a handful of camping trips while I was in the Scouts, but it was enough to confirm to me that camping would always hold a special place in my heart. But… Life, as it occasionally does, got in the way.
Except for a few random excursions here and there over intervening years, camping just wasn’t something I made a point to do. But that all changed in 2022.
It was June of that year, and I booked a weekend at Meridian State Park. What transpired was a wonderful trip filled with campfires, hiking, and swimming. Needless to say, it reignited my love for spending time in God’s Creation.
Now, almost four years later, I’ve camped at six Texas State Parks (some multiple times), participated in several Stealth Camping Alliance challenges, and I try to go as much as possible here and there in between: all while documenting it all for YouTube and Rumble.
I truly believe that God has put this desire in my heart, and I hope by sharing this passion with the world, I’ll influence others to Go Wild! And Go… Camping!!!
